RAMPS 1.4 control board for 3D printer (RAMPS 1.4)
Description RAMPS 1.4 control board for 3D printer
The RAMPS 1.4 platform (RepRap Arduino Mega Pololu Shield) is one of the most common boards for building 3D printers.
The fee contains:
Connectors for connecting five stepper motors.
Connector for connecting a heated table and extruders (blue).
Power connector (green).
Connectors for Arduino MEGA (on the back of the board).
Reset button.
Peculiarities:
The placement of capacitors and resistors in the SMD variant made it possible to place more passive components.
Ample opportunities to add Arduino boards until the RAMPS 1.4 board runs out of free connectors (I2C and SPI) for upgrading.
Two self-resetting fuses for 5A board components and 11A for platen protection (orange).
Ability to connect an SD Card (separately or as part of an LCD display).
NPN field-effect transistors (mosfets) are connected to the PWM connector for versatility and are involved in heating the printing table and extruders.
LEDs are used to indicate the operation of the extruders and the heating of the table.
Dual connector for simultaneous connection of 2 motors on the Z axis from the 1st driver.
Used on printers: Prusa; Prusa2; Huxley; Mendel and other similar printers using two stepper motors on the Z axis.
