Tubes with heat-shrinkable glue are intended for insulating cables or for restoring damaged insulation. Unlike conventional heat shrink tubing, adhesive heat shrink tubing completely seals the area to be closed due to the presence of a hot melt adhesive. During heating and shrinking of the tube, the adhesive layer melts and fills all voids, displacing air. As a result, the connection becomes completely protected from dust and moisture. A heat-shrinkable tube with thermoglue has thicker walls compared to a regular tube, but this does not prevent it from maintaining plasticity after shrinkage.
